Potsdam- If you're looking for a break away from the city of Berlin than Potsdam is an ideal destination to visit. Potsdam's about a 45 minutes drive away from Berlin or you can catch the train which takes around 30 minutes.  Glienicke Bridge- One of the most iconic attractions in Potsdam is the Glienicke Bridge which connects the city of Berlin to Potsdam. The bridge is a symbol of the divide between East & West Germany because during the Cold War it was used to exchange captured spies between both sides which gave it the nickname of the Bridge of Spies.If you're travelling to Potsdam by road then I would highly suggest stopping off at the bridge because it's a decent photo opportunity as the views are remarkable. Berlin- Looking for some inspiration on where to travel in Europe for a getaway? Then this blog will help give you some inspiration on the  the culture hub which is Berlin and the city of Potsdam. In this post I will be discussing the destination of Berlin which is rich with history, art, culture & fashion. Further on my second part of the blog I will discuss the city of Potsdam and the various attractions to visit in the city of history. Eastside Gallery-   Mühlenstraße 3-100, 10243 Berlin, Germany Berlin is known for its street art and the Eastside Gallery is one of the many examples of the street art which is available in the city. The Eastside gallery is situated on the remains of the Berlin Wall and lasts 1km.  I would highly recommend visiting the Eastside Gallery especially if you're interested in street art and if you're also interested in seeing the remains of the Berlin Wall.
